hey! (: yay so there's gonna be a follow-up from class outing I! anw, here are the suggested details so far:

-Lunch (prob at jurong entertainment centre because [read next point])
-Ice skating. Fuji is the only one I know, and it's at JEC. there's student offer on wed, so we'll prob be doing it on 12dec
-BBQ (please please please not at my house. I have REASONS ok. crash someone else's condo or book at a club la haha)

yupp. so we can actually do all of these in one day, but does anyone want to split it up? oh and yeah suggestions welcomed. (: this would be a possible itinerary:

11.30 meet at jurong east mrt (control station) or go straight to...
11.45 gather at jurong entertainment centre
11.45-1 lunch (there're quite a lot of places around there. maybe boring macs.)
1-1.30 I dunno. hang around? (we could take neos... >.< haha)
1.30-2.30 go to Fuji, rent stuffs, wear skates, etc. then those who can skate help those who can't. (: and STICK WITH THEM for at least 1/2 an hr. don't
leave them to die!
2.30-4 skate around a bit more, by 4 should be quite tired and aching already
4-4.15 return everything, "check out" of Fuji
4.15-5 get to... wherever we're doing BBQ at... (who lives in a condo too pls give me a shout! or if you know any good+cheap clubs)
5-8 BBQ+bonding (we could have a shot at games! (: )

yupp. if we follow this, yall are gonna need to wear prob long pants aka jeans, and bring a jacket (it's cold at first but will become warm after a while), gloves, change of pants if you think you're gonna fall a lot, at least $20, food to BBQ and BBQ stuffs like charcoal.

anw, front design, is the "logo" for the front kind of thing.

2 charity!!! yep welcome to the blog..details on gathering:

Date: 21 Oct 2007 - Sunday (that's next Sunday)

Time: From after catechism, about 12, to around 5.30 (does anyone want to have dinner together too?)

Venue: East Coast Park

Proposed itinerary:
12-2 Travelling time and lunch (we'll either have lunch at ECP or Serangoon Garden Circus)
2.15-3.15 Rent bikes and cycle around (proposed double-bike idea)
3.30-5.30 Return bikes, beach bonding and games (we NEED suggestions for games! cards -.- haha or rubik's cubes -.-'''')

To wear/bring:
-T-shirt, shorts (preferably) or berms etc, sport or normal shoes
-Bring spare clothes in case we decide to dunk each other
-Bring beach slippers (if not the shoes will get icky)
-Handphone (get everyone's no. first for safety reasons) and wallet, with EZ-link and about $20 cash for lunch and bike, possible $30 if we're dinnering)
-Water, don't get dehydrated!
...did I miss out anything? Just tell the class if I did.

Our catechism class has planned a class outing in consideration of the fact that we are not very bonded together. We hope that this outing will enable us to strengthen our ties, especially before the Confirmation Camp.
Safety measures will be taken to minimise the chance of losing someone on the way. We have also already considered food and transport. We sincerely hope that you would allow your child to participate in this activity, as we have put much effort into planning it and we hope it will spell success.
